Dr Meenal Sharma is a clinical cardiologist, specialising in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging and general cardiology.
Meenal graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2010 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She completed her internal medicine training, including a final year as the senior medical registrar, at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
Meenal undertook advanced training in cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, followed by subspeciality training in non-invasive imaging at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. During her training, she published several peer reviewed journals and presented at national and international scientific meetings.
She has expertise in transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography and transoesophageal echocardiography. She consults in all aspects of general cardiology and her areas of specialty interest include heart failure, coronary artery disease and preventative cardiology.
Meenal is dedicated to providing comprehensive, holistic care to her patients.
Meenal has appointments at Cabrini Hospital Malvern and Epworth Richmond.
