Dr Jodie-Ann Senior
General cardiology and heart failure
Dr Jodie-Ann Senior is a general cardiologist and heart failure specialist with experience in cardiac transplantation, mechanical support and regenerative cell therapies.
Her prime objective is not just to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions but to prevent them. Her goal is to optimize health and well being through supporting practices in exercise, nutrition and mind-body fitness. She is passionate about teaching and education.
After completing her medical degree at Monash University, she went on to complete physician training with the Royal Australian College of Physicians, with subspecialty training in heart failure. She has a decade of experience in heart failure management, cardiac transplantation and mechanical support at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
She now is a visiting medical officer at Cabrini Health and is the Director of Cardiology at The Valley Private Hospital. She provides comprehensive cardiological services at both sites, including out-patient consultations, risk assessment and management, out-patient and in-patient general cardiology and heart failure management, exercise stress testing and echocardiography, She is also actively engaged with under-graduate Cabrini medical student teaching and has a central role in heart failure education with the cardiac rehabilitation program at Cabrini Health.
